- Decorations: Keep the decorations simple and elegant. We have real Christmas tree with twinkling lights and decorations in the cottage over the festive period, add to this your own festive centrepieces, and a touch of greenery and you can create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Music: A soft playlist of holiday classics or relaxing tunes can set the mood. Consider using a streaming service through the TV or creating your own custom NYE playlist.

Food and Drinks: Keep the menu light and easy to prepare. The large kitchen is great for preparing and serving food but don’t spend all night cooking - finger foods, cheese platters, and a few simple appetisers are perfect for a casual gathering. How about ordering a specially made NYE Cake or dessert to share? Don't forget to stock up on your favourite drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – you’ll need plenty of hydration for the hot tub!

- Cosy Comfort: A crackling log fire is the ultimate symbol of warmth and comfort. We will supply plenty of firewood and kindling for you along with our cosy seating area around the log burner but if you don't have fire just dim the lights - maybe string some fairy lights up and lamps to create that cosy ambience.

Hot Tub Bliss
- Relaxation and Refreshment: A hot tub is the perfect way to unwind and relax after a long evening. We will make sure to have plenty of towels on hand for guests but don’t forget to bring some suitable footwear for getting from the house to the tub – crocs or sandals are perfect.

Champagne Toast: As the clock strikes midnight, raise a glass of champagne and toast to a new year filled with happiness and prosperity, we supply champagne flutes especially for use in the hot tub.
Additional Tips
- Games and Activities: To keep guests entertained we have board games and playing cards at the cottage – these can add a fun and interactive element to your party. How about bringing or making some poker chips and having a poker evening?
- Movie Night: Cosy up by the fire and watch a classic festive movie, there is Netflix HD package at the cottage but you can also log on to your own streaming services and rent a festive classic such as Home Alone or Elf.
