Things to do with your dog on holiday

Dogs are great holiday companions sometimes better than some humans! They won’t complain when you have a lie-in (well not always) or a late night. They won’t spend hours on their phone. Plus they’re a great conversation starter. Your dog needs a holiday too and a change of scenery and providing them with nothing but leisure time is a great way for them to destress and relax, and we all need that!
Dog walking meadows, dog friendly cafes and dog loving pubs are all nearby and in terms of dog walks with the 'wow factor' - we have dog friendly beaches, river walks and acres of the wonderful Langford Heathfield to explore (right on our doorstep).

Chipstable Dog Walking Meadow is a securely fenced 3 acre field on the edge of The Brendon Hills. With views across to the Quantock hills the meadow is surrounded by woodland. Features a shelter, indoor and outside seating, picnic benches and agility equipment.

Dukes Paddock, Wellington where Facilities include a sand pit, agility equipment, a small pool and doggy shower. Its pushchair friendly with a gravel path around the edge.

Houndsville is open throughout the year, Houndsville offers a completely secure 3.5 acre exclusive use dog walking space in featuring a pond for dogs to swim in, dog shower, defined pathways and picnic area.
